When was the last time you asked someone in your family about important moments in their life? Communications Fellow Ayanna Albertson sat down with her grandmother, mother, and sister and opened a space to talk about how they navigated childcare through the years.

Their love for their families is visible, but solutions for all families are still not available. Our child care system is led by women of color who have one of the most important responsibilities: Providing the foundation for all of our children’s’ futures. But our country doesn’t treat them that way.
