Tyler Azure (she/her), a proud Indigenous woman enrolled in the Chippewa Cree tribe of Rocky Boy, Montana, is an advocate, writer, caregiver, and ally. Her journey through life led her to advocacy work, where she found her calling. Her impactful contributions include co-founding and leading the IMPACT National Advocacy Alliance for Invincible Mamas Pushing Action & Change Together (IMPACT), a project led by Justice+Joy National Collaborative that amplifies the voices of young mothers, serving as an administrative manager at a child development center, and fulfilling the crucial role of a mother to her children while also being a kinship caregiver to her younger sisters.Tyler’s dedication to advocacy work stems from her desire to share personal stories and raise awareness about important issues. Through her writing, she aims to shed light on the struggles faced by communities like her own, while amplifying their voices. Her work serves as a powerful tool for advocating for change and promoting understanding and empathy.Despite the hardships she encountered, Tyler has found strength in her experiences. Her ability to transform her challenges into opportunities for growth is reflected in her writing and advocacy work.
