Families who have lost loved ones in police interactions with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police recorded testimonies and submitted them to the Nevada State Legislature during the 32nd Special Session that addressed police reform. The families of LVMPD homicide victims Jorge Gomez, Nicholas Farah, Rafael Olivas, Joseph Justin, and Thomas McEniry shared their stories of loss, and demand change. Their sharings helped pass two police reform bills in the most recent special session.
