Some families in Las Vegas know the irreversible pain of losing a loved one to police brutality. In solidarity with protests across the country that have sparked from the recent killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and Tony McDade, families left behind after by police homicide are speaking out again, leading the fight for change. On May 30, at Container Park in downtown Las Vegas, family members honored the memory of their stolen loved ones, utilizing the momentum of this moment to refocus attention on what we can do together to truly support Black Lives Matter.
