Two of the most consequential pieces of modern legislature moved through Congress this year. A policy framework made up of two bills: the infrastructure bill and a budget reconciliation bill. 

You may have heard news floating around about the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Build Back Better Act, but are still confused about what they are. We gathered some questions folks still have about the bills and compiled some answers to help us understand why the new policies matter to you.

No matter where you live or what you do for a living, it is likely that these bills will impact you one way or another — from childcare to healthcare to the climate emergency. These bills help us rewrite the rules so that every family has what we need to get and stay well and every community can protect our air and land for generations to come. This is a downpayment on our future.
