We can strengthen our communities by creating food systems that create new jobs and businesses through the people living here. DREAM (Dreaming Out Loud’s Ready for Entrepreneurship Accelerator Modules) is an accelerator program for startup food business entrepreneurs residing in Washington, D.C. with this exact goal. Participants are paired with current mentors in the restaurant industry and introduced to banks and business leaders who can help them launch their business. Get to know the entrepreneur behind Torch Porch, Rayford Mitchell, who is just one of the participants who is taking advantage of this module to catapult his business.
