President Biden has the authority to use executive action to stop deportations, close detention centers, and designate TPS for countries experiencing environmental catastrophes and political unrest. But one year in, he has not fulfilled his promise to the immigrant families who are counting on him to deliver.

So community members, allies, and directly impacted individuals across the country are calling on President Biden to fight and protect immigrant families.

Like many immigrants, Jose from Arkansas reminds President Biden that it’s time to use his executive power to deliver on his campaign promise of passing permanent protections. 

FIRM Action, CASA, CUSP, Center for Popular Democracy, NICE, Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), NAKASEC, Make the Road New York and Make the Road Nevada rallied outside the White House with tri-caucus members on the eve of the President’s State of the Union address, demanding that he take action to deliver on immigration, healthcare, and climate. Attendees used their stories as another powerful tool to call attention to the urgent need for immigration reform. 

Maria from Vancouver, Washington is the mother of two American citizens. Her mixed-status family needs the stability and relief a path to citizenship would provide. She needs President Biden to deliver.
