Florida voters gather at Netroots Nation to unite the vote

I’m at Netroots Nation along with hundreds of political activists who are passionate about creating stronger communities for all. I took this opportunity to ask my fellow activists from Florida about the importance of uniting the vote this November.  This is what they had to say:

Elizabeth: Why voting in Florida is so important

Florida State Rep. Amy Mercado: Voting is your voice and the only way to be counted

Kennedy: Your vote is your protest and your voice for the things you care about

Grace: We are in the front lines of a climate crises. Turn out to vote.

Adriane: Be a voter and a role mode for youth who can’t vote yet, but who are developing their voter identity.

Cecili: We need to have representation across the spectrum. Get out and vote.

Mayra: Mi gente Latina, we are a growing voting block we need to show that we can make our voices heard with our vote.
