Maris Medina is a breaking news video producer by day, avid reader by night, and visual storyteller always. Fueled by her lived experiences as a woman of color and Filipina immigrant, Maris strives to tell stories that inspire communities to action while amplifying marginalized voices. Outside of crafting video stories, you can catch her reading (40 books and counting in 2021), playing with her 9-month old puppy, and working toward her goal of becoming a civil rights attorney.
