Emily Withnall is a writer, editor, and single parent to two teens. She earned a master's degree in environmental studies from the University of Montana in 2015. Emily's work has appeared in High Country News, The Progressive Magazine, Gay Magazine, Ms. Magazine, Business Insider, Parents Magazine, Health Magazine, and other publications. She is a regular contributor to El Palacio Magazine, and she currently lives an hour from her hometown in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
